Additionally, stretch therapy corrects muscle imbalances and improves posture. Stretch therapy is used to reduce pain, improve athletic performance, reduce the risk of injury, recover from injury or surgery, improve sleep, etc. Stretch Therapy sessions focus on relaxation in a pain-free environment to achieve optimal results.


Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a stretch therapy method that uses stabilization to isolate individual muscles and the associated fascia. AIS uses dynamic 2-second stretches to lengthen the muscles and fascia.

Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a stretch therapy method that focuses on lengthening the entire fascial network throughout our body. FST includes traction to expand the joint capsules and PNF techniques to relax neurological impediments.

Ben Wooley, M.S.

Stretch Therapist Ben Wooley brings 15 years of personal training experience to Corrective Exercise Solutions, LLC. He is currently certified as an AIS Therapist and as a Level III Fascial Stretch Specialist (CFSS). Ben is also a Performance Enhancement Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (#1340872). He earned his MS in Kinesiology from Southern Illinois University in 2008. Prior to completing his education, Ben served four years with the 1st Reconnaissance Co., 1st Marine Division.
