FSP baseball players train muscles and movements that correlate to on-field performance as well as the muscle groups that aren't actively used quite as often. We refer to it as the gas pedal vs. the brake pedal. Athletes with a strong gas pedal perform. Athletes with a strong brake pedal resist injury. FSP baseball players have both.
Baseball players that register for one of our sports performance programs will be able to train seamlessly alongside athletes from all sports, building their personal athletic profile while simultaneously broadening their athletic scope.
Baseball is a special sport requiring explosive speed and power, precise coordination, and lightning-fast reflexes. They say that one of the hardest things to do in sports is to make contact on a pitch. Once your coaches and instructors get you there, we take over and help hitters hit deep balls when they're at the plate. Conversely with the wealth of knowledge hitters have these days coupled with game after game of overuse, it's tougher for pitchers to rack up the K's. FSP coaches can help extend the life of a pitcher's career by giving him the tools to withstand constant shoulder abuse and throw with more velocity. After all, you can't help your team succeed if you're stuck on the DL.
